OB/GYN Physician

Overview

Required Skills and Experience: • BC preferred/BE required in ABOG • MD or DO with a current unrestricted NY license to practice medicine is required • Board Eligible Candidates Accepted (What Qualifies As Board Eligible? w/in 5 years) • 3-10 yrs of experience would be ideal, can use anyone close to retirement • Will accept candidates in Residency, but prefers experienced doctors • Will consider candidates that need to relocate, but ideal candidates will have ties to the area • OB/GYN physicians are expected to attend medical staff department meetings, serve on medical staff committees as requested, and actively participate in relationship building activities with referral sources, including primary care physicians and the community (i.e. schools, business, etc.). What you need to know: • Expected patient volume each shift is 25-30 pts on office days • Patient type: Mostly adult • Outpatient care • There are (3) MDs + (3) NPs in Oneida / Currently (1) NP in Rome.
