Overview

Required Skills and Experience: • BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (IM preferred) • 1-2 yrs of experience required • BLS / ACLS • NY MD License required • DEA License • Completion of Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine (or Family Practice) Required Important to know: • 113 beds • Admits: Days (8-10) / Nights (6-8) • Collaborates with referring primary care physicians. Accepts and manages patients in the Intensive Care Unit on the hospitalist service or on consultation with Intensivist support. • On-site coverage hours include 24/7 with shifts ranging between 8 hours to 12 hours.
