Overview
Must haves to be considered: 1.) Must have a clean/active Texas state license 2.) Must have an active DEA 3.) Must have an active CPR/BLS 4.) Must be able to take call (see below for details) Preferred, but not mandatory: - Prefer someone with experience in treating those with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities. - Prefer someone familiar with electronic health record, particularly Cerner/IRIS. Length of Assignment: Minimum commitment of 3 months ONGOING Schedule: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM Call: WeekDAYS are 1:6 (1 weekday call, every 6 weekdays) Weekday call is from 5PM-8AM WeekDAY call pay rate: $150 IF called back: $100/hr WeekENDS are 1:6 (1 weekend call, every 6 weekends) Weekend call is from Friday 5PM- Monday 8AM -Saturday and Sunday morning rounds WeekEND call pay rate: $400 for the entire weekend IF called back/rounding: $100/hr 99% Phone calls, VERY rare does the provider need go onsite Position details: Weekly case load of 40-50 patients 8-10 patients seen per day 50% of all appointments are physicals 50% of all appointments are acute illness, injury or follow-ups Provider will perform clinics in the morning and annual physicals/meetings in the afternoon. Support staff: 2 Physicians onsite 2 NP's onsite 1 PA onsite Full office staff and MA's
