Overview

Must haves to be considered: 1.) Must be licensed as a dietitian or provisional licensed dietitian (PLD) by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians. Length of Assignment: Commitment of 3 months ONGOING Schedule: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM There's room for flexible schedules! No weekends No call No holidays Position details: Scope of contractor services would include but not limited to: work on providing nutritional care, assisting and developing a therapeutic menu and providing any service as assigned by the Hospital in accordance with this scope of work. The Dietitian shall provide the following; • Develops nutritional care plans in order to ensure individual patient nutritional needs are met. • Completes follow-up to patient care plans as established in the Nutrition Care Plan in order to meet The Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements. • Keeps abreast of professional areas that are pertinent in order to provide quality patient care and maintain professional credentials. • Willingly completes other duties as assigned within timeframes and minimum standards established by supervisor at the time of the assignments. Obtains supervisor clarification and assistance as needed to complete task. • Sign in at the Central Kitchen upon every visit to the campus and also comply with any and all rules and safety requirements set forth by Rusk State Hospital or other federal, state, and local laws or ordinances and permits, while on Campus.
