Utilization Review Nurse

Overview

Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) 1. Unrestricted RN (BSN required) license 2. 5 years healthcare experience, including 2 years in an acute care setting 3. Two (2) years utilization review experience at a managed care plan or provider organization 4. Must be comfortable with technology and open to learning new software tools What you need to know • Collect relevant medical information (via telephone and fax) and apply the appropriate evidence-based guidelines and medical policy • Clearly document all communication and decision-making within our utilization review tracking platform, ensuring a peer could easily reference and understand your decision • Opportunity to join one of the most innovative, fast growing health plans in the US • Great pay/benefits with fantastic company culture
