Overview

Required Skills and Experience: • BC in Psychiatry (ABNP) • Open to specialty training in different areas • Love new Residents / must have 5 years left to practice What you need to know: • 103 Beds / Outpatient clinic in a hospital setting • Age range of patients: Adult + some Geri • Initial visit length: (1) Hour new patient appointments • Follow up visits/med check length: (30) Minute med checks • Consultations: Yes - On the medical floor • Types of Cases: ALL - Mood, Psych, Substance Abuse • Suboxone certificaiton needed? Ideal but not required • How many providers in group? (MDs vs Mid-levels) (4) Psychiatrists + (19) Therapists + (2) Psychologists • EMR: Cerner
