Overview
Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) • Physician licensed to practice medicine in state. • Board Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine • Credentialing at one or more hospitals commonly serving patients in the hospice service area • Ability to operate a motor vehicle required. • Demonstrate ability to assess, plan, evaluate and analyze nursing aspects of patient/family care. What you need to know • Responsible for the overall medical direction of patient and family services. • Position will travel between two local hospital sites. • Will visit homes on occasion doing face to face and some palliative care. • Will have no direct reports and have under 200 patients. • Full benefits & many professional development opportunities.
