Required Skills and Experience: • BC in Anesthesiology Pain Management • 2+ years of experience • Will accept BE, fellows (within 3 years) • Pain Management fellowship required • MD with a current unrestricted GA license to practice medicine is required What you need to know: • Hospital Size: 99 beds • About the practice/hospital/surgery: 6 OR's • How many providers in group? (MDs vs CRNA's) 3 MD's, 6 CRNA's (each MD has a subspecialty) • Both Inpatient and Outpatient • Clinic: Pre-operative assessment. Ability to evaluate patients with complicated pain problems, management of acute pain, prescribing medications • MD Supervision: Supervision is rotated: 2-3 CRNA's / 2-3 rooms. • CRNA's: CRNA's can do epidurals & OB • Pain Procedures: Neurostimulation; Radiofrequency ablation/RFA; and nucleoplasty (minimally invasive procedure for low back and leg pain) Pain conditions treated: Arm Pain, Cancer Pain, Carpal Tunnel, Complex regional Pain Syndrome, Dorsal Column Stimulators, Facial Pain, Headache, Intrathecal Pain Pump (insertion & mgt); Leg Pain, Lower Back Pain, Migraines, Myofascial Pain, Neck Pain, Neuropathy, Peripheral Nerve Stimulators; Radiculopathy; Trigeminal Neuralgia
