Overview
Phenomonal client looking to add an experienced Phlebotomist to their team for a lengthy contract. Working for a Federal IHS facility, this is a great way to explore and contribute to rural medicine, Duties and Responsibilities: *Collects requested laboratory samples from patients. *Performs routine laboratory testing on samples as directed. *Assists in charting, filing, typing, and other routine clerical duties. *Submits, receives specimens, and reports to laboratories as needed. *Cleans work area and maintains appearance of laboratory. *Monitors stock, supplies and orders as needed. *Assist in preparing special reports as well as participates in quality improvement activities. *Adheres to professional, confidentiality and ethical standards. Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri from 8am to 5pm Duration: 13 Weeks (with possibility of extension) Minimum of 3yrs Experience Certs: BLS Registered/Licensed Phlebotomist thru ASCP, AMT, or equivalent. Must have good written and verbal communication skills Meet pre-employment credentialing clearances (Background Check, Drug Screen, etc.) Ability to meet physical demands (stand; walk; sit; climb stairs, stoop, kneel, or crawl), and lift up to 50lbs Attire: Scrubs
