Phenomonal client looking to add an experienced Pharmacist to their team for a lengthy contract. Working for a Federal IHS facility, this is a great way to explore and contribute to rural medicine. Job Duties include; but not limited to • Reviews charts for patient compliance and drug interactions. • Reviews appointments, labs, x-rays,consults and any other pertinent data and assures appropriateness of drug therapy. • Brings appropriate problems to the supervisor's attention. • Reviews prescriptions issued by Physician, or other authorized prescriber to assure accuracy and determines formulas and ingredients needed. • Compounds medications,using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients. • Directs pharmacy workers engaged in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals. • Answers questions and provides information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceuticals. • Enters data such as patient name,prescribed medication and cost,to maintain pharmacy files, charge system, and inventory. • Plans Organizes daily workflow of the pharmacy. System utilized: Script Pro (can train, very easy to use) and Etreby, Pharmacy application of Cerner. Schedule: Mon-Fr from 8a to 5p Experience: Minimum of 6 months Licensure: Registered Pharmacist Certs: BLS Preference: No disciplinary action noted against individual Attire: Professional
