Overview
Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) *State license and current registration to practice as a nurse required. *1+ years nursing experience in LTC facility required. *Associate's Degree or higher *Thorough familiarity with both the Nursing Assistant 100-Hour Training Program and the facility policies and procedures for direct nursing care required. *Organizational skills and ability to relate well with nursing staff, trainees and other disciplines required. What you need to know *Collaborates with Unit Managers, Preceptors, Nurse Consultant and assists with annual clinical skills competencies for nursing staff on an ongoing basis. *Serves as a resource and mentor for the Preceptors and new nurses / CNA’s in the facility, providing education and support as appropriate during department based orientation. *Coordinates and/or leads delivery of corporate mandatory inservice education for facility staff during designated months annually. *$7,500 sign on bonus! (paid in 4 equal installments, every 90 days) *Benefits-eligible after 60 days of employment
