Overview
Job Details: • Typical day is morning report, assigned new admissions, some discharges, medication management, crisis management, rounding on patients. • Credentialing includes the doctor needing to have physical done there on site, including tox screen AND some online training. • Temporary Privileges can take about two weeks after all paperwork, then the process for full privileges continues. • 4 units, 22 to 24 beds in each. • 87 patients is usual run rate total. • Length of stay is 13.5 days. • Adults only. • Census is 12 per day per doctor. • Staffing mix is mds, psychologist, 2 social workers, activity therapists and many nurses. • Admissions and discharges will average 5 per WEEK. • No H&P. • EMR is Quadra Med - training is required for a morning PRIOR TO STARTING. Required: • BC and BE in Psych (five years out of residency only) accepted Schedule: 9 to 5 Monday to Friday *No weekend call, no night call
