Overview

Required skills & experience: ● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. Masters preferred. ● At least one (1) year experience in Human Resources or related field. May be waived with compensatory education. ● Knowledge of relevant federal, state and local legislation relating to Human Resources, (e.g., Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, Worker’s Compensation, ADEA, FLSA, etc.) Language Skills: ● Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. ● Excellent presentation/ group interaction skills. ● Additional languages preferred. Skills: ● Basic computer knowledge. What you need to know • Maintains a companywide focus while recommending, and implementing forms, processes and programs for OCH Health System. • Plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates work activities of the MO Human Resources staff and oversees the work activities of the AR Human Resources staff. • Monitors and evaluates all areas of Human Resources department. Develops and implements processes, policies and procedures. • Coordinates performance evaluation process. Provides training and tools to department managers to enhance meaningfulness of process. • Assigns areas and special projects to Human Resources staff. • Types and formats reports, letters, memos and general correspondence for department managers and HR staff. • Represents the facility at legal proceedings as a part of a team. • Maintains thorough documentation. • Uses accurate, clear and concise oral and written communication. • Demonstrates the ability to be flexible, organized and professional, even during stressful situations. • Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple assignments, balance priorities and make decisions promptly.
