Overview

Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) *Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred *NY license and current registration to practice as a RN required. *5 years of nursing experience *1 year of experience in geriatric nursing; acute care setting preferred *1 year nursing experience in a long term health care facility required. What you need to know *Collaborates with Unit Managers, Preceptors, Nurse Consultant and assists with annual clinical skills competencies for nursing staff on an ongoing basis. *Serves as a resource and mentor for the Preceptors and new nurses / CNA’s in the facility, providing education and support as appropriate during department based orientation. *Coordinates and/or leads delivery of corporate mandatory inservice education for facility staff during designated months annually. *Benefits-eligible after 60 days of employment
