Medical Director, Virtual Care

Overview

Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) 1. MD or DO from an accredited medical school, licensed (or eligible to be licensed) in Texas 2. 3+ years of primary care experience; specialty in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics required 3. Experience as a medical director, leading a team of care providers 4. Familiarity with the care delivery environment in Houston 5. Located in Houston with a willingness to practice in person as necessary 6. Ideally possessing Spanish language fluency • Looking for an innovative physician leader to develop and lead a Virtual Primary Care Team • Manage a multidisciplinary care delivery team (including APP and MA staff) • Provide direct patient care to patients (flexibility for in-person care preferred but not required) • Opportunity to join one of the most innovative, fast growing health plans in the US • Great pay/benefits with fantastic company culture
