Required Skills and Experience: • Licensed PA or NP • (14) 12 hour shifts per month = 2016 hours per year • Night shifts--- 7p-7a • Looking for 7on/7off • What Residencies are Required? Critical Care • 12 bed ICU (6-8 patients average census) • There are no ICU specialty units- they get everything across the spectrum- cardio, respiratory and sepsis. • They bought equipment i.e. ultrasound machine, glide scope etc. • Important that the APP is very independent/comfortable and confident enough to manage floor at night What you need to know: • Patient encounters per shift? 6-8 patients • EMR: MediTech • # of Beds: 162 • Position: 2 APP Nocturnists • Is this a leadership position? No
