Overview
Clinical nurse needed for a 4-6 week contract to work on an IHS facility in Oklahoma. Need someone urgently to hit the ground running working with an underserved population. * Will be making home visits, Filling medication planners. Wound Care. Assessing patient, Injections. Immunizations. Will drive GSA when making home visits. Keeping track of mileage. Assisting with Covid-19 clinics/screening. *Monitors health status to identify and solve individual, family and community health problems. *Diagnoses and investigates health problems and health hazards in the community. *Informs, educates and empowers people about health issues. *Mobilizes community partnerships and action to identify and solve health problems. *Develops policies and plans that support individual and community health efforts. *Enforces laws and regulations that protect health and ensure safety. *Links people to needed personal health services and assures the provision of health care when otherwise unavailable. *Assures competent public and personal health care workforce. *Evaluates effectiveness, accessibility and quality of personal and population-based health services. *Researches for new insights and innovative solutions to health problems Schedule: 8:00a to 5:00p Duration, May extend if needed longer Certs: BLS and ACLS Must poses a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets CNHS underwriting rating. Must poses an Oklahoma Board of Nursing approved license or compact state license. Attire: Solid Color Scrubs Good written and verbal communication skills Meet pre-employment credentialing clearances (Background Check and Drug Screen) Ability to meet physical demands (stand; walk; sit; climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl), and lift up to 50lbs
