Overview
Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered): • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business Management or equivalent area of study • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a compensation role, including demonstrated use of compensation principals and best practices. • Healthcare experience preferred. • Demonstrated ability to interface and negotiate effectively with all levels of staff and management and to develop reasonable and creative solutions to complex issues • Experienced in development, program management and implementation of policies and programs in a dynamic, changing organization • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) • Has to be local (Nashville/Brentwood TN) What you need to know: • The Compensation Consultant is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of the compensation programs and practices. • This role will be a key member of the Compensation team, as well as a strategic partner to HR and the business. • Development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of competitive compensation programs that contribute to the company’s Total Rewards offerings and ensures compliance and alignment with company objectives, policies, and government regulations. • Provides guidance and advice to HR Business Partners and internal clients on compensation policies, pay decisions, wage and hour regulations, and creative solutions for specific compensation issues. • Manage/oversee annual merit and bonus award processes. • Perform job assessments and provide appropriate market benchmark data for new jobs created; offer guidance to clients when job changes occur. • Using market pricing software, prepares analysis and interpretation of external market information for annual assessment of salary ranges. Completes ad hoc market pricing requests as needed.
