Job Requirements: 2 years ER/ED experience - Required Must be willing to float to WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital if needed - Required ER Nurse Pediatric course - Preferred but not required Trauma Nurse Core course - Preferred but not required EPIC Experience - Required BLS (AHA) - Required ACLS (AHA) - Required NIHSS certification - Required PALS (AHA) - Required What you need to know: Utilizes the nursing process as the frame of reference for practice as a professional registered nurse in the role of primary nurse and provides direct emergency nursing care as appropriate. As primary nurse, assumes full responsibility for the nursing plan of care, has the authority to make and is held accountable for patient care management decisions specific to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the plan. The Registered Nurse is responsible for direct supervision of Associate ED personnel to ensure all patient care objectives are met.
