Overview
Job Requirements: Complete and keep current all CTD courses provided by RGSSLC. Maintain current licensure with state of Texas and liability insurance. Maintain CEUs for licensure. Must be in “good standing with Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners. Will have completed an American Heart Association – approved course in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and maintain that certification while providing services at the Facility. Will ensure Contract Office has a current license and current CPR certificate at all times while providing services at the Facility. Failure to do so will require a suspension of services until an updated license and CPR certificate are provided and no monetary penalty will be assessed against the Facility for such suspension in services. Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned. Will conduct themselves in accordance with the Rules and Regulations relating to Physical Therapist Education, Licensure, and Practice in the State of Texas. What you need to know: Physical Therapist to perform timely, quality assessments within deadlines and meeting guidelines from state office and settlement agreement. Perform treatments, monitoring, training for clients and staff, and write all required information by deadlines with quality. Write physician orders, treatment notes, and discharge summaries. Assist with the following: a) Ordering of equipment. b) Physical Nutritional and Management plans. c) Wheelchair measurements and implementation. d) Clinic for Orthotic and Diabetic shoes. e) Positioning program with hospital beds, and chairs.
