Required skills & experience: • 5+ years Software Engineer/Engineering Manager experience • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent work experience • Ability to manage engineers while working within a team yourself • Passion for mentoring and growing Software Engineers • Passion for building software quickly, driving value, and mitigating risk • Passion for Quality • Experience with devops pipelines a plus: jenkins, aws codebuild, docker, etc What you need to know: • Manage, grow, and mentor Software Engineers • Become an expert on our applications and provide technical leadership to Engineers • Consistently spend time coding on bugs and features that are not assigned to teams • Work with the Director of Engineering to scope and plan future projects • Promote an Engineering culture of teamwork, success, fun, and opportunity • Engineering Manager will manage Software Engineers and work within a technical engineering team to support Engineering. • You will serve as a mentor and coach for engineers, work with the Director of Engineering to enable more efficient processes and best practices across our teams, and be able to pick up features and bugs that our existing teams do not have bandwidth for. • Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, you will work alongside Software Architects and Devops Engineers in the engineering department.
