Overview

Required skills & experience: • Minimum 6 years of experience in a CLIA and/or CAP-certified high-complexity laboratory, including personnel management. • Deep understanding of laboratory operations, processes, and procedures. • Strong technical skills and excellent troubleshooting ability. • Experience with clinical test development/assay validation. • Experience managing partner/vendor relationships and performance. • Exceptional communication skills; demonstrated ability to present and influence effectively at all levels of an organization. • Detail-obsessed and process-oriented, with strong organizational skills. • An entrepreneurial self-starter that can dive in and operate with little or no supervision. • Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment a plus. • Bachelor’s degree required. MS or BS in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, chemical, physical or biological science preferred. What you need to know: • Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the Manager / Senior Manager, Laboratory Partnerships will work hand-in-hand with our partner labs to scale operations, streamline workflows, and deliver a top notch experience for our customers. • Drive the vetting, contracting, integration, training and onboarding of new partner laboratories. • Manage partner laboratory relationships and performance, including defining and tracking performance metrics / KPIs. • Build strong relationships with partner lab operations personnel and executive stakeholders; serve as the key point of contact for all partner lab communications and issue escalations. • Proactively identify and address lab partner risks, and ensure the prompt resolution of issues. • Collaborate with clinical, compliance, and customer experience stakeholders to iterate on and improve partner laboratory processes / SOPs as they pertain to Everlywell samples. • Advise laboratories on best practices for managing consumer-initiated, at-home test kits. • Collaborate with leadership, internal stakeholders, and partner labs to launch and scale new tests, enter new markets, and support new customer types. • Partner with Customer Care to address customer experience issues and opportunities related to lab processing. • Provide feedback to Product on opportunities for digital and physical product improvements to streamline lab operations.
