Overview
Facility is looking for Psychiatrist to treat adolescents as part of their partial hospitalization program. Locum will work as part of an integral team that includes 3 therapists, 1 recreational therapist, 1 teacher/administrator and 1 part-time nurse. Locum will see patients ranging in age from 12 to 18 years old. Locum will provide individual therapy and medication management for 8-10 patients. Average stay for each patient is 8-10 days. Facility requires adolescent experience with interest in treating depression, anxiety, and self-injurious behaviors. They prefer experience with higher acuity patients and PHP milieu. Position is part time but they may be able to add additional hours in Adult Outpatient should locum desire Facility has a perm need posted and is needing a locum to cover until a permanent provider is found. Need is 3 days per week and will be ongoing for at least 3 months to start. Facility will consider locum to perm or those interested in just perm. Credentialing takes 60-90 days (facility will work to hit 60 day mark or less) Facility currently uses EPIC. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS MI license and CSR at time of submission - Highly preferred BLS - Required BC Child Psychiatry or BE w/in 5 years of residency - Required Experience w/ adolescence - Required Facility Highly prefers in person interview EPIC experience - Highly prefer CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BLS Board Certified Board Eligible STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS Michigan ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS MI CSR ABOUT THE FACILITY
