Overview
Required skills & experience: 1. NY State Registered Nurse (RN) license (BSN preferred). 2. Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience. 3. Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in the provision of long-term care (LTC) services. 4. Must have documented evidence of teaching and/or appropriate supervisory experience from one of the following: Adult learner teacher course, NY State Ed Teacher certification, 2 yrs teaching nursing/related or 2 years teaching CNAs in a nursing home). What you need to know 1. This is a Full-time position, working out of the three facilities (Grand Island, Wheatfield, Grand Island). 2. Benefits-eligible after 60 days of employment. 3. Collaborate with designated facility staff to ensure a mentoring program is in place for newly certified nursing assistants. 4. Develop, train and/or oversee implementation of CNA career growth programs.
