Overview
IHS facility is looking for a locum tenens Pediatric Hospitalist to cover their facility for 3+ months with a high chance of extension. Need a team player who is ready to hit the ground running. Details below: 3-4 Days a week working 24 hour Call. Block Schedule. Will be seeing patients from birth to 18 years when they require admission to the hospital. They also will be covering the Nursery, for emergency C-sections, and routine well baby exams in the nursery. They may be asked to help see patients in the clinic or Urgent Care if the workload allows them in case of high demand. They will be rounding on patients in the Med Surg unit and the nursery. Will be taking call with the group – we have a total of 3 pediatric hospitalists. A call room is provided.
