Overview
Required skills & experience: 1.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged. 2. Seven (7) years experience of progressive responsibility in a healthcare environment (Medicare and Commercial ACA, Medicaid) with demonstrated technical knowledge that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities required. 3. Three (3) years supervisory or lead experience in healthcare required. 4. Knowledge of SDLC. 5. Strong knowledge of Health Insurance plan specifications. Understands the needs of health plans related to HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory requirements. 6. Expertise in Business Intelligence and reporting tools and technologies (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, SAS, SSRS, SQL, batch jobs, dashboards), EMR integration approaches (i.e. CCDA, XML, APIs, flat file, etc.), interoperability concerns (i.e. HIE, HL7/FHIR, Blue Button, Patient Access, etc.) and portal technologies. What you need to know: 1. Above market pay, excellent benefits and bonus potential. 2. Familiarity with cloud (i.e. Azure), big data technologies (i.e. Hadoop, Spark, Data Bricks), AI//Machine Learning, and EMR platforms (i.e. Allscripts, Athena, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, Epic, NextGen, Practice Fusion). 3. Ability to effectively present budgetary and/or cost information, and respond to questions as appropriate. 4. Must have collaborative attitude and innovative mindset. 5. The team is building a brand new self-service technology, they use it internally and they are shutting down legacy systems and integrating this one. It will be 4+ analyst that reports to this manager and this manager will be working with the internal stakeholders.
