Overview

Required skills & experience: • Current license in the state of employment required (LP, LPCC, LMFT, LICSW, LMHC) • Individual & family psychotherapy experience required • Will consider a new grad if they have their license, but prefer at least 1 year of experience • Must have valid driver’s license in the state of employment • Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 14 days from date of hire • DBT experience preferred • Specialized knowledge and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Maudsley Family-Based Treatment is preferred • Specialized knowledge and training in assessment and treatment of eating disorders is strongly preferred What you need to know: •The Intake Therapist will conduct client assessments during their first in-person interaction with TEP in order to develop an individualized treatment plan for the client. •This position is full time 80 hrs every two weeks Day/Evening schedule. • Conduct client assessments in order to determine an individualized treatment plan • Maintain ongoing knowledge of intake demand at assigned site • Maintains clinical records in compliance with The Emily Program policies and regulatory standards • Maintains and enhances knowledge of current clinical practice, strategies, and developments through participation in his or her professional organization; attending related seminars, workshops, and conferences; and reviewing the literature • Serve as the clinical point of contact for new clients until matched with an outpatient team, which may include brief therapy interventions
