Overview

Required skills & experience: • A minimum of 12 years of successful sales experience, including 7 years in a sales leadership/management role • Must live in or near Windham, NH (this role is not remote). • Experience working for a healthcare organization or healthcare recruitment organization is required. • Prior success selling to the C-Suite • Strong analytical skills including the use of business intelligence reporting to make decisions • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to establish relationships over the telephone • Demonstrable success in team development and mentorship • Approximately 15% travel required • Bachelor's degree required Your character is more important than any level of skill, experience, or education. We expect all of our people to exhibit these common attributes: • High level of integrity • Desire for excellence • Strong work ethic • Results-oriented team player What you need to know: • The ideal candidate will crave a challenge; have the ability to drive sales across multiple divisions and have a proven history of success in a complex sales environment. • In this role, the VP of Sales will manage, develop, and lead teams of business development professionals to ensure effective sales growth. • Maintain financial controls and revenue forecasting to drive achievement of targeted revenue goals and margins within their divisions • Provide leadership and direction to assigned sales teams by clearly defining, communicating, and measuring objectives and goals • Ensure that each team member is performing at a desirable level by meeting or exceeding department level goals and KPIs • Hire, mentor, and train team members assuring appropriate assimilation into the organization • Identify and develop new business opportunities while providing creative solutions for complex sales and operational challenges • Work closely with the VP of Strategic Sales and Account Executives on complex proposals, negotiations, and closings • Participate in strategic planning sessions with executive leadership • Maintain and develop strong relationships with key accounts and other assigned targets
