Finance Manager

Overview

Required skills & experience: • 3-5 years of overall experience within corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, or private equity/venture capital • Prior people management experience • Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with strong interpersonal skills and superb teamwork • Unwavering integrity with a high degree of personal responsibility • Experience with business intelligence/database tools and e-commerce a strong plus • Ability to work with and derive business decisions from large data sets • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related discipline What you need to know: • The finance manager, reporting to the VP of Strategic Finance, will work closely with business partners across the organization to develop and refine various models and presentations, and provide critical analyses for the company’s upcoming and rapidly expanding initiatives. • Manage board & executive level reporting of financial results & key performance indicators (KPIs), constantly improving quality & efficiency • Lead monthly close process by partnering with accounting, adhering to corporate finance/accounting guidelines to ensure timely and accurate close • Shepherd the 3-year company financial model with a deep understanding of all inputs and interdependencies • Drive process for annual budget, quarterly and monthly financial forecasts, and ongoing analysis of actuals versus plan • Build relationships with senior management team and support them with in-depth and actionable insights • Lead and mentor a team of analysts to develop business acumen, execute against company strategy and enhance team effectiveness
