Overview
9/25: 2-week contract starting immediately. Client would like them to start sometime next week (week of 9/28). Coverage would be for at least 2 weeks but possibly run longer. The position would be for our Hemet Dental Department, Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm. Preferably a Registered Dental Assistant w/x-ray, coronal polish and sealant license: • Assist in all dental procedures. • Cleaning and sterilization of all instruments. • Setting up all operatory trays. • Take digital x-rays. • Disinfect operatories, dental units, counter tops, and cabinets. • Maintains a clean, organized, well-stocked dental lab. • Give oral hygiene instructions. • Send, track and follow-up of all lab cases. • Track and follow-up on pathological findings. • Seats and dismisses patients. • Coordinates patients and procedures, keeping patient flow steady. • Keep operatories stocked with supplies. • Daily maintenance, sterilization and lubrications of low and high handpieces. • Performs coronal polishing (if licensed) with dentist supervision. • Fabricates and places temporary restoration. • Dry endodontic canals. • Charts existing conditions at an examination appointment. • Responsible for continuous quality improvement. • Checks all equipment for proper and safe function and maintain current maintenance. • Responsible for reporting variance incidents to the Dental Director as soon as possible. • Any other duties as assigned by the Dental Director.
