Required Skills and Experience: • Board Certified • Fellowship trained Pediatric Intensivist • 3-5 years for the medical directorship experience required • Pediatric subspecialty support includes: Pediatric Surgery, GI, ENT, Anesthesia, Radiology, with telemedicine coverage for Pediatric Cardiology • Active SC license or willingness to obtain What you need to know: • Looking for a Board Certified Pediatric Intensivist to lead the inpatient pediatric and pediatric critical care practice. • The Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the inpatient pediatric and PICU with particular attention to quality, patient safety, policies and procedures, and patient experience. • Hospital Size: 94 • Position / Title: Pediatric Intensivist (PICU) • Is this a leadership position? (MDs vs Mid-levels) 1 other Doctor • Patient encounters per shift? 14-18 • Cover both PICU/Pediatrics & Consults from ER - 6-beds with 2 observation beds
