Escrow Assistant

Overview

Required Skills and Experience: • 2+ years of recent experience working on transactions in a pre-closing capacity in TX • Knowledge of legal documents with ability to analyze and evaluate documents as they relate to residential real estate closings • Software experience with Ramquest or Qualia strongly desired. • Experience with other title production software such as Softpro, Resware, LandTech, or similar software will also be considered. • Experience with Title transactions in Texas • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional communication skills with clients • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. • Deadline-driven. • Resilient team player - we are a start up so ability to roll with the punches and adapt to change is key What you need to know: • Opening files, ordering title documents, payoff documents, estoppel letters, taxes, and other administrative items that could arise related to the closing. • They will be communicating to the customer their closing details before handing it off to our Escrow Officer to work on the closing. • They must demonstrate familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title industry. • Experience in Ramquest and/or Qualia preferred. • High levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and focus on deadlines will determine your success in this role. • Most importantly, this person will provide an incredible customer experience by being informative, responsive, patient, and friendly in all interactions.
