Large Medical Facility is seeking a locum tenens Pathologist for 8-5 coverage every other weekend. Dates of Coverage: ASAP -Every other weekend coverage -8a-5p Details: -Approx. Number of Cases Read Per Day: 10-30 -Average Number of Patients Per Day: 85 -Will the Locum Provider Be Responsible for Grossing Their Own Specimens? Yes -Will the Locum Provider Be Cutting Their Own Frozen Sections on the Cryostat? Yes -How Many Physicians in the Group? 1.6 -How Many Histotechnologists? 2 -How Many Cytotechnologists? 1 -Describe Equipment (Specialized Equipment, etc.): Leica Slide/Cassette writer Biocare Intellipath Dako Artisan immune stainer -Type of Cryostat: Leica CM 1950 -Type of Microscope: Labophot 2 -Cytology Proficiency Exam Required for GYN Cytolology? Yes -Required Anatomic Pathology Procedures: Surgical Pathology GI Pathology GU Pathology Neuropathology Dermatopathology Hematopathology (Bone Marrow, Lymph Nodes) Aspiration/bx of Bone Marrow Interpretation of Bone Marrow Aspirate/bx Cytology Autopsy -Documentation System/EMR: Co-Path/Siemens Sorian -Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: can credential in 24hr. start date flexible can be soon or later. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Board Certified Pathology – Required NJ license in hand at name clear – Required Availability at time of name clear – Required Clean malpractice / Background – Required Local, no flights – Required, will reimburse lodging and car if needed CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BLS STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
