Original Content: About Us Seeing a psychiatrist can take up to 3 months and cost as much as $500. Shocked? Us too. That’s why we started Cerebral, a telemedicine-first mental health startup. We are breaking down the barriers to access to mental healthcare so that anybody can get the care and meds they need immediately and for just $99/month. We launched publicly in January 2020, are growing at over 40% month-over-month, and need your help. About the Role We are seeking elite MDs who are board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine to practice on the Cerebral platform. Medical school or residency at a top US medical center is required. Our patient-base is a diverse population with a mix of private, public, and uninsured patients. Our typical clinical scope includes anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and insomnia. Cerebral physicians operate within an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, primary care doctors, nurse practitioners, therapists, and Care Counselors to provide high-level patient care. We believe that our collaborative-care model, and telemedicine platform will be revolutionary in improving access to care to those struggling with mental health issues. Candidates must have all of the following qualifications: 1) Excellent communication skills with a focus on physician-patient interaction. 2) Active medical licenses in at least five states. 3) Willing to supervise Cerebral Nurse Practitioners. 4) Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine 5) Trained and educated at a top 50 (per U.S. News & World Report) American academic institution. We are seeking physicians who are able to work at least 20 hours per week. We are looking for candidates with at least 5 licenses out of these states (more is a plus): California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
