Overview
Long term locum opportunity at an fantastic facility in Connecticut. Need a team player ready to hit the ground running after the Holidays. Requirements and qualifications below: -Practice Setting (Inpatient/Outpatient/?)- Inpatient- Primarily-Inpatient Psych Unit; occasional assistance with ED BH and inpatient consults -Dates of coverage (best start and end)- Approx January 1st (3-6 months) -What is expected schedule- M-F- possible occasional weekend -Number of physicians needed-1 -On-Call Required? If so, what is call schedule? 1- 2 nights per week phone/home call -Average Number of Patients Per Day? approx 10-15 total -Scope? (Adult, CHAD, etc.?) Adult (opportunity for child as well IF the person is certified) -How Many Psychiatrists in group currently? 2 employed plus 2 other for contracted services -APP's part of team? How many? 3 -Is physician expected to supervise an APP? intermittently -Other required certifications? No -Any required procedures? No -Is EMR, Epic or another platform? Epic Rates: No per diem and malpractice must be included in rates SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Board Certified Psych - Required Active CT license - Required, no exceptions Clean malpractice/background - Highly Preferred Full time availability - REQUIRED Local candidates - HIGHLY PREFERRED CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS ACLS BLS Board Certified DEA STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS Connecticut
