Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Overview

Required Skills and Experience 1. Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of agency operation. 2. Three (3) years' experience as a RN in a behavioral health/psychiatric setting required within the last five (5) years. 3. Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role. 4. Must be willing to do skilled nursing visits as well as psych visits. 5. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order. Ability to travel to all business locations. Assess all medicines to identify possible ineffective drug therapy or adverse reactions, significant side effects, drug allergies, and contraindicated medications. 4. Establish realistic measurable, observable goals consistent with the patient’s diagnosis. 5. Must be willing to cover the entire Huntsville territory.
