Facility looking for a locum tenens PA/NP to work 7 on 7 off. 12-hour shifts, rotating day and night shifts Thursday-Wednesday cycle, 7 on, 7 off EMR: Cerner Powerchart In collaboration with board-certified critical care/pulmonary physicians, the nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) provides independent high-level advanced practice services to patients within the intensive care units. Clinical responsibilities include assessment, consultation, and management of critically ill patients. Duties include ICU admission and discharges, procedures, such as intubation, line placements (central and arterial), and chest tube placements, thrombolytic management, and oversight of patients within scope of practice. Support: 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia; Level II Trauma Center; ED; on-site; community family medicine clinics; SAHS specialty physicians rotate in outreach, larger system resources. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Certified NP or PA - Required Active ID license - Required CSR, DEA - Required No new grads - Required Able to perform all duties and responsibilities - Required Clean malpractice, no background - Highly preferred Local candidates, no flights - Highly preferred
