Required skills and experience: 1. Graduate from school of nursing. Master’s degree preferred 2. Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in applicable state. 3. 5-10 years of Hospice Management experience required with current experience in a hospice leadership role. 4. Multi-State level experience required. 5. Seeking strategic thinker/skills along with sales & growth experience. 6. Strong communication skills. 7. Strong professionalism/political savvy. What you need to know: 1. This is a full-time opportunity with an understanding that travel will be involved if you need to fly into Michigan twice or three times per year or travel to agencies within the states. 2. Certification as CHPN is recommended within 2 years. 3. Oversees day to day service delivery for Home based Hospice & Palliative services. 4. Implements best practice interdisciplinary hospice & palliative care. 5. Determines appropriate staffing levels in accordance in program size. 6. In conjunction with VP of Strategy, develops go to market strategy, key referral sources and growth projections. 7. Responsible for integration of newly acquired programs through mergers and acquisitions. 8. Responsible for key operational performance indicators.
