Overview

Required skills and experience: ● Required - Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or other related field ● Required - One year of direct experience with population or community to be served and knowledge of community ●Required - Bilingual ● Preferred - Knowledge of crisis planning and case management ● Strong propensity towards building and maintaining relationships ● Ability to initiate conversation and create connection quickly ● Ability to develop, adapt, and execute outreach plans ●Establish trusting relationships with members through an empathetic, strength-based, and trauma-informed approach ● Utilization of text messaging, phone calls, home visits, and social media as a primary means of engagement ● Help find opportunities where technology can fuel care and challenge when more traditional practices should be implemented ● Be knowledgeable about community resources appropriate to needs of members Job selling points: -Dental insurance, Flexible schedule, Flexible spending account, Health insurance, Health savings account, Vision Insurance -Paid Time Off: Unlimited PTO, subject to approval by your manager and reasonable efforts to let your team know. -Work from home office then travel out into community to provide care Schedule: M-F, 8-5 (but can be flexible with work schedule) *Ongoing hiring need, so hiring managers will continue to hire 1-3 Community Guides each month.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • community engagement or working as a Community Guide? (2+ years)
Preferred
  • How do you foster connections with the clients and maintain those relationships long-term?
  • When someone asks for a resource and you’re not able to deliver that resource, how comfortable are you sitting with that? (Essentially asking--How comfortable are you with being unable to help a member of the community (for whatever reason - funding, lack of resources, etc.)
  • What interests you about working at Reema?
  • How comfortable are you with using technology (navigating google docs, excel, word etc.)
