Overview
Required skills and experience: • A minimum of two years of appropriate experience as an Occupational Therapist • Current CPR certification. • Possesses a current , unencumbered license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in PA • Presents proof of current negative TB test or chest x-ray. • Valid state driver’s license and automobile liability insurance according to Agency policy. What you need to know: • To provide occupational therapy services to patients as prescribed by the physician. • To aid in the development of adoptive skills and performance capacities by individuals of all ages who have physical disabilities and related psychological or cognitive impairment. • To maximize independence and to prevent further disability, as well as to maintain health. • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and ensure quality and safe delivery of rehabilitation services. • To ensure that occupational therapy services are provided in accordance with Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations in order to demonstrate support for achieving the mission of the Agency. • Works in patients’ homes as well as the Agency office. • Drives in own car to and from patients’ homes.
