Required skills and experience: •6+ years of progressive accounting experience •Ability to perform independent accounting research and documenting accounting positions •Prior experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm preferred •Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements •BA/BBA/BS in Accounting, Finance or business-related field required •US CPA is required •Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, from clerical staff to executives, and manage relationships with external parties •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manages competing priorities, and adhere to tight deadlines •SaaS or Technology industry experience is a plus •Experience with Workiva is preferred •Working knowledge of NetSuite, Workday or other comparable ERP systems is a plus •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manages competing priorities, and adhere to tight deadlines What you need to know: • We are expanding our team and seeking a hands-on Senior Manager, Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting, as we look to prepare the company for public readiness. This new role will take the lead on adoption of new accounting standards, documenting accounting positions through technical memos, and manage the external financial statements reporting process including but not limited to the 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K. This position will also be responsible for supporting the quarterly reviews and annual audits, as well as, presenting conclusion to management. • Additionally, this individual will innovate and drive efficiencies through continual evaluation of our systems and business processes. You will report to the Sr. Director of Finance and Assistant Controller and have exposure to our Investor Relations and Senior Management team. In this role, you will be expected to be a key contributor as we prepare the Company for public readiness.
