Senior Backend Developer

Here, you will: -Build clean, scalable, and responsive APIs and backend processes to create great user experiences. -Design, implement and maintain existing and new applications. -Apply and extend our API and patterns to better meet the needs of our platform and its applications. -Partner with UX and frontend to bring great experiences to life. -Partner with other software engineers to research and solve problems. -Have fun building high-quality code. We welcome your experience and talents: Required: -BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics (STEM) -5+ years of software development experience working on large web applications (Azure, REST, C# Web API, SQL Azure/SQL Server) -Experience working in an agile environment -Proficiency with C#, EF, Dapper, and Azure PaaS technologies (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus). -Firm understanding of object-oriented design with specific experience in DDD and CQRS. -Mastered Git. -An ability to demonstrate a superior understanding of software development fundamentals. Preferred (Wow factor): -Experience developing data-intensive web applications. -Experience with Azure DevOps build and release processes. -Experience developing React applications. -Experience with Cypress for UI test automation.
