Application Engineer (BAS/HVAC)

Overview

Required skills and experience: •5+ years experience in Commercial Building Automation Systems (BAS) or Journeyman+ commercial Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems installation and maintenance •Advanced HVAC mechanical background and systems knowledge  •Niagara AX and/or N4 certification, Honeywell WEBS certification, or Johnson Controls FX certifications •Experience working with BACnet and/or Modbus •Strong knowledge of BAS and DDC Controls systems.** •Experience working with past and present Controls systems •Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing blueprints, specifications •Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for limited travel as needed  •Self-motivated, can work independently or as a team member.  What you need to know: We are looking to hire our next BMS Application Engineer. The ideal candidate would have either commercial mechanical HVAC installation experience OR Building Automation Systems design for commercial HVAC systems. After our Application Engineers are comfortable working their specialty area, they are then cross-trained and promoted to a Project Engineer, eventually running their own jobs from the initial design review with a sales rep all the way through supporting the final commissioning.
