Overview

Required skills and experience: 1.1 year experience in obstetrical ultrasound 2. Able to work independently 3. Responsible & reliable 4. Strong interpersonal skills 5. Strong communication skills 6. Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program required 7. ARDMS registered (OB/GYN) required within 6 months of hire 8. NT certification required within 6 months of hire 9. 3D/4D Ultrasound experience preferred What you need to know: 1. Full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits package. 2. The Sonographer will use the ultrasound equipment to image fetal and/or patient well-being and/or pathology in the obstetric and non-obstetric patient. 4. This can include EFW, dating, evaluation of fetus and uterus for pathology, evaluation of pelvis for pathology, and assistance in ultrasound guided procedures. In addition, the Sonographer will perform elective 3D/4D ultrasound exams, when scheduled. Interview process: 1. Microsoft Teams video interview 2. Additional job details: 1. Explain ultrasound procedures to patients so they feel comfortable with the experience 2. Perform all routine diagnostic 1st trimester, 2nd trimester and 3rd trimester 2D ultrasounds 3. Perform non-routine diagnostic, high risk, nuchal translucency and genetic 2D/3D ultrasounds 4. Writes up all diagnostic ultrasound reports and gives verbal reports to providers as needed 5. Perform all add on ultrasounds as needed for each provider 6. Perform 3D/4D entertainment ultrasounds and puts together DVD (USB) and picture package 7. Assist providers with ultrasound guided amniocentesis, sonohystograms and IUD inserts
