Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage the general ledger including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and other business interests as directed. Maintain financial controls and guidelines. Provide accurate, relevant and timely financial information to the CFO and Executive Team. Assist with responding to audit requests and questions during the annual fiscal year financial statement audit. Lead, mentor, and train direct reports. Share best practices and prime the accounting operation for significant company growth. Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential. Encourage a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality. Desired Skills and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field. At least 5 years of accounting and/or finance experience. Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP specifically related to project/cost accounting. Ability to supervise, train and coach employees with varying levels of experience. Self-starter with a high degree of integrity, professionalism, and reliability. Ability to manage and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office with an advanced knowledge of MS Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
