Accountabilities: This role will carry out the Agile tenets as interpreted by the team, removing impediments, and promoting empowerment. This position is highly responsible and accountable and will challenge the teams and strive for improving Agile standard methodologies. Working closely with the various business and IT teams, this position will play a key role in the delivery and overall management of multiple software product development projects and the day-to-day business as usual enhancements and system maintenance. Responsibilities: · Support Agile-based SDLC for software development using crafting standards, tools, and best practices · Will lead Scrum teams to perform planning, development, and testing on large software development, implementation, and integration project · Interface with product owners on an active basis to manage the product backlog and sprint activities · Leads the project user-stories and schedules, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters · Coordinate and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings · Manage and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress · Coordinate release management with all the Technology Teams and Business Operations including release tasks, follow-up, and release communications. · Ensure the development teams are practicing the core Agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility · Ensure all scrum activities are tracked and kept up-to-date and reported daily · Recommend improvements and assist in changes to leading practices · Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition · Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the team's ability to deliver the sprint goal, and communicate risks · Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution · Empower the teams to self-organize and improve the efficiency of the sprint teams · Participate in the organization and planning of the development schedule to create a cohesive plan with identifiable platform dependencies and major achievements · Adapting project scope, schedules, and resource assignments as required throughout projects to respond to emerging requirements and risks · Demonstrates awareness of both Agile and DevOps technology practices (scrum ceremonies, planning, Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment) Requirements: · A 4-year degree is required · 3+ years as a Scrum Master · 1+ years working with DevOps teams · 5+ years of technology experience · Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as the definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement) · Experience with both Kanban and Scrum methodologies · Experience in leading teams new to Agile/DevOps and facilitate daily standups, sprint reviews etc. · Strong team leader with the ability to influence and negotiate · Experience using the Atlassian Suite of tools · Experience with teams performing new development while simultaneously supporting Production issues · Experience with communicating status and providing updates to executive level management · Experience with negotiating prioritization between Product Owners and Technical leadership · Work independently, seeking guidance from leadership when needed · Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills · Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse and a geographically dispersed team Preferred Qualifications and Experience: · Scrum Master certification is a plus · Experience in any public cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS) is a plus · Experience in CI/CD pipelines is a plus · Understanding of software development: Web, Mobile, DB a plus
