Overview

Required skills and experience: 1. Experience in a medical office setting and/or graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program is required. 2. Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) (Preferred). 3. Bachelor’s degree (Preferred). 4. 1+ years in a medical office (Preferred). 5. Experience with EMR system(s) and medical terminology is required. 6. Previous experience at an OBGYN office (Preferred). What you need to know: 1. This is a full-time positions with benefits. 2. Schedule is M-F from 8a-5p. 3. This position will rotate to different clinics from time to time in Clinton Township, Chesterfield Township, and Detroit. Interview process: 1. Obtain patient's health history and accurately enter into Electronic Medical Record. 2. Set up and prepare exam room for patient visit to ensure cleanliness. 3. Perform any preliminary physical tests and obtain vitals. 4. Set up any additional diagnostic and/or treatment equipment. 5. Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed. 6. Complete all documentation pertaining to patient's medical record, test requests, medications and patient education with accuracy and timeliness. 7. May perform Scribe duties. 8. Assist the physician as directed. 9. Must work well in a team environment.
