Overview

Required skills and experience: 1. Graduate from certified program or college / university (required) 2. Athena Healthcare EMR Experience: 1 year (preferred) 3. Experience and insight into the revenue cycle to maximize collections and reimbursement (preferred) 4. CPT/Procedure codes knowledge 5. ICD10 diagnosis coding 6. Solid communication skills both written and oral 7. Previous experience working within a large, private OB/GYN medical practice (preferred) 8. Other language skills (plus) What you need to know: 1. This is a full-time positions with benefits including 401k match. 2. Schedule is M-F from 8a-5p. Interview process: 1. Onsite interview with Director of Revenue Cycle Management and Supervisor (1-2 meetings) Job selling points: 1. Enter charges into the system with accuracy. 2. Identify errors and process correction of charges. 3. Monitors delinquent accounts. 4. Provides the highest level of customer service and is committed to resolving patient issues in a timely manner. 5. Payment posting and maintaining appropriate aging amounts. 6. Full cycle patient billing including payment plans, printing/mailing bills, phone calls and other tasks as assigned. 7. Insurance and benefits verification. 8. Contacts third party payers to resolve payer issues, expedites claim processing, and maximizes medical claim reimbursements. 9. Other duties as assigned by management.
