Overview

SUMMARY: The Talent Specialist (Healthcare Recruiter) provides recruitment and talent support for assigned agency location(s). They will work side by side with their hiring leaders to identify agency staffing needs, including RNs, LPNs, MSWs, Therapy, HHA and office personnel. They will participate in the recruitment strategy process to ensure a talent pipeline and identify that the right people are aligned with the position and company’s mission and vision. Ensures compliance with all company policies and legal regulations and laws. QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES: • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field, or equivalent years of relevant work-related experience required • Minimum of three (3) years of recruitment experience required • Healthcare/Nurse recruitment experience is strongly preferred • Social media recruitment and sourcing experience is strongly preferred • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ability to learn new software systems and databases • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is required • Ability to create positive impressions and communicate with a variety of people • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize • Must be able to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion • Occasional travel to partner location(s) MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: • Facilitates collaboration with agency leadership to assess hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies • Help support Lead Talent Specialist with vendor partners relationships • Processes and reviews applications to determine eligibility • Effectively determine the appropriate sourcing and marketing strategies for job openings • Screens for qualified applicants using Behavioral Based Interviewing and recommends to hiring managers • Schedules candidates for interviews with the hiring manager • Maintain relationships with the candidate through all stages of the recruitment process • Responsible for managing the requisition workflow in the ATS • Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all applicants and other recruiting activities • Monitors vacancy and turnover rates for service lines and works with hiring manager and HRBP to develop strategies to address retention issues • Partner with Coordinators to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires • Maintain job postings to relevant job boards and media outlets; coordinating and attending recruitment events • Ensures confidentiality and company and legal compliance with talent acquisition processes • Understands and practices company policies and procedures • Assists with day-to-day operations of the HR department as needed; other duties as assigned
