Area Sales Manager

Overview

Required skills and experience: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in business and/or management. 2. Three (3) years sales experience in the health care industry. 3. More than one (1) year supervisory experience within home health/hospice healthcare industry. What you need to know: 1. Will spend average of 3/4 days traveling between territory and riding with reps. 4. As the Area Manager, you will implement and carry out the sales initiatives set forth by the company, throughout the territory, and support the day-to-day business development operations of the hospice liaisons. 5. You will lead and assist the hospice liaison in establishing and developing new business contacts; maintaining current relationships; developing and implementing a sales and marketing plan and achieving their established growth quotas. 6. Supervise, mentor and support the outreach team and sales initiatives. 7. Collaborate with hospice operations team to positively impact the assigned market and region. 8. Frequent travel to meet the day to day business needs of the hospice organization and multi-site operations throughout the assigned region(s) and territories.
